Simon Tyler

Simon brings over 35 years of experience in banking and treasury, having held senior roles at both the National Bank of New Zealand and the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. He most recently served as Chief Executive of the Government Superannuation Fund Authority and the National Provident Fund for a decade.
Simon currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Heartland Bank (New Zealand), an independent member of the audit committee for IHC New Zealand, a director of Palliser Estate Wines of Martinborough Limited, a director of NZ Bio Forestry Limited and a trustee of the Fale Malae Trust and the University of Otago Foundation Trust.

Rachel is an accomplished governor and executive leader with over 25 years of experience of commercial leadership and governance roles across global industry sectors including technology, finance, healthcare, infrastructure, education, professional services and manufacturing in New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and the United States.
Rachel currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of IAG New Zealand, a Director of NZX Limited, where she Chairs the Clearing Committee, a director of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) and is a member of the External Reporting Board Advisory Panel (XRAP). Rachel is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors New Zealand and a Fellow of CA ANZ.

Julia is a professional Independent Director with experience in New Zealand and Australia across the technology, retail, energy, logistics, insurance, health, television and media sectors. Julia has over 25 years’ experience in globally recognised Executive roles leading large complex organisations for some of New Zealand’s leading companies.
Julia is currently Chair of Move Logistics Limited; an Independent Director of Southern Cross Medical Society; Southern Cross Healthcare Ltd; Southern Cross Travel Insurance Ltd; New Zealand Rugby; and the All Blacks Experience; a Trustee of Southern Cross Health Trust; and Trustee & Deputy Chair of NZ Global Women. Julia has previously served on the Boards of The Warehouse Group; Jade Software; Television New Zealand and Z Energy. Julia is a Chartered Member of the NZ Institute of Directors, and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Tim Tez
Director
Tim brings over 25 years of extensive experience in the insurance industry, with a strong track record across distribution, strategy, M&A, reinsurance, product development, pricing, marketing, and government relations. Prior to joining Resolution Life, he served as CEO of Medical Indemnity at Avant Mutual, Australia's largest medical indemnity insurer. Before that, Tim was CEO of AIA Health Insurance and also held the role of Chief Marketing Officer at AIA. Throughout his career, he has successfully led major insurance acquisitions and integration programs across Australia and New Zealand.
